Join us on Wednesday, July 13 for a youth-led bus tour of urban agriculture sites in Los Angeles.
Youth from two urban agriculture programs in the Los Angeles area will share their work and their stories with visitors at three sites around the city. Participants will engage in dialog about how service providers, policymakers, and funders can better serve the needs of urban agriculture.
Participants will visit the following sites:
- Social Justice Learning Institute Headquarters (Inglewood, CA)
- Community Services Unlimited Headquarters, Mini Urban Farm (Los Angeles, CA)
The tour is free. Please RSVP by Sunday, July 10.
A healthy local lunch will be provided.
This tour is facilitated by the UC Sustainable Agriculture and Research and Education Program, Community Services Unlimited, and UC Cooperative Extension - Los Angeles County. It is funded by the UC Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
